Suburban Studios Avondale

I stayed in the hotel bout a week ago and I must say that I have no complaints. there were restaraunts close by and very respectful staff. Bridgette answered all my questions and didn't hesitate to fix my stove . The housekeeping knocked and waited before entering and they don't bother giving me a few extra towels

Our stay was great! The room was clean and cool when we entered. The room stayed cold and the service was great & very polite. Great location. Was very impressed for it to be a 2 star hotel.

I stayed here on 2 separate occasions, both times the staff made me feel very welcomed. The manager Angela was helpful in getting our reservations changed due to an error on a site I paid with. Yes the hotel is a bit old however my room was clean and I had no issues. Location isn’t close to all the festivities but the price was way cheaper than it would’ve been if we went downtown I will return each time because the staff is nice and the hotel is clean.

I stayed here with a couple of friends and we loved it! The room service was a solid 8/10 we had a few runarounds, but nothing major and definitely nothing that ruined the experience. What really stood out was the front desk. Courtney was incredibly nice and welcoming! I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels, and the front desk service is rarely this warm or genuine. Courtney made us feel right at home, and because of her, I’ll definitely be coming back. I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for friendly staff and a comfortable stay.

Suburban studios hotel is pretty cool. Nice soft and slightly firm beds. Nice clean sheets. No odor in the non smoking rooms. Staff very accommodating, well mannered, and ready to help with any issues that you may have. I had one issue with my booking the hotel manager quickly resolved the issue. I have to give a Special shout out to favorite employee at the suburban Ms. Bridgette. She’s super nice and friendly. Made me feel like I lived here and I only stayed for a night but ended up coming back the day after. She Took me to view a room and was very helpful with my booking process. If you pulling up to the suburban ask for her she’ll help you get the room you deserve to relax in. the cheaper hotels in this area are trash . This place is Perfect for the cornerstone turn around in November!

Nice place. So far, so good. The shower was great. The bed feels great. And it is quiet. Be advised that this is a studio room, Things are not provided like glasses, ice bucket, coffee maker etc. The kitchen is limited, a two burner cooktop and microwave. The refrigerator is full sized. I'd stay here again, for a place to sleep it's great.

I want to give a big thank you to dontae for making my check-in experience so smooth and pleasant. He was friendly, efficient, and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. It really set the tone for a great stay!

I can not believe that the lost art of customer service was hidden at this hotel! Jessica and Daisy are stellar, they have gone well above all reasonable expectations to make my whole family feel as though we were the only guests being taking care of! I called ahead of my 2 week stay for work to see if their was a crib or pack and play we could use and while their wasn’t she made the extra effort to call back to ask and offer advice and get more info to ask our stay better! The room we were first given was lacking in some maintenance like the bathroom door panel got stuck and popped loud. And being the end room the exit doors banged loudly, But when I asked she probably gave us a different room that still gave me a view of my vehicle in the same set up. She even somewhat helped us move our stuff between the rooms to. Helping to keep our daughters wrangled into a semi general location allowing us to get everything done.. At check-in Jessica really went out of her way to make sure we had anything that we needed and this is at 2 AM or so and she gave us some plastic utensils out of her own vehicle just because we didn’t have anything with us of that nature she got us a coffee pot and dishes and she gave my daughter a little toy to play with and she gave us extra sheets for our youngest daughter. And even at 2 AM she was on the ball with her job and she was very happy and pleasant to talk with them didn’t make me feel like I was interrupting her evening or being rushed into my room. I don’t know what they make but it should be more I’m sure of that. In their area responsibilities they are superstars a lot of these negative reviews on here point out things that can’t be fixed if the staff is not made aware of like a bathroom door that Pops went opened because the staff doesn’t close the doors they open them to make sure the rooms are clean so they wouldn’t know that. And I’ve seen some reviews of Pest control issues and I’m now in my second room and I have seen not only no issues but no evidence of past issues in the two rooms and common areas that I’ve been in.. if I ever travel back to New Orleans I would definitely want to come here again I feel like I kind of got a steal of a deal to stay here this hotel feels like the customer service should be charging twice what they are for the rooms. Oh and one other note they also remembered my name when I first met Daisy I said hi I’m Tony she remembered My full name occupation and family size. I talked by phone to her the day before check-in and didn’t see her until my third day here so I find that quite impressive!
